Isabel Muñoz Beaulieu

Isabel Muñoz Beaulieu is finishing a joint BA Honours at McGill in International Development and Philosophy. She has been supporting the HHE research group with the project on “The Ethics of Humanitarian Project Closure in the Philippines” by helping develop the conceptual framework under supervision of Dr. Matthew Hunt. She is really interested in issues in global health, migration, and humanitarianism, especially how they intertwine with ethics and policy.

During her bachelor’s she has had the opportunity to work at the United Nations High Commissioner of Refugees in Guatemala for a summer and interned for the Institute of Health and Social Policy at McGill. There, she received training in public policy, knowledge mobilization, and community involvement. She was also a Global Health Scholar where she learned about conducting responsible research in global health.
